Notes
Entry 40 in Yanagi 1925 photo book (解説No 40). Dimensions 丈三尺三寸 (≈ 100 cm per Yanagi; Muruburu vol. 38 gives 95.5 cm — likely different measurement base). Originally carved for Shinboku-ji Temple (神木寺) which was dismantled during the Meiji period. Photographed by Yanagi at Bairin'in (梅林院; 964 Katsurashima Okabe-chō); now held at Seirin-in. Carved same day as Koyasu Kannon (SC-1800-017). Inscription 千体之内 on reverse confirmed per Fujieda guide.
